From a Vision to a Movement
In Owen Sound, Ontario, we saw too many talented, capable young people held back by circumstances beyond their control. Poverty, family instability, lack of resources, and systemic barriers were preventing kids from reaching their incredible potential.
We knew that with the right support at the right time, these young people could not only survive but thrive. That's why Goals and Assists for Kids was born.
Like in sports, where a great assist sets up a teammate to score, we position at-risk youth for success by providing the mentorship, education, and community support they need. We remove obstacles, create opportunities, and celebrate every victory along the way.
